Michèle A'Court, ONZM
Winner of Female Comedian of the Decade at the 2010 NZ Comedy Guild Awards, Michèle A’Court was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2023 New Year's Honours. She is a busy stand-up comedian, freelance writer and is a regular on radio, TV and her column in the Woman's Weekly
Her TV credits start with children show What Now, and include Pulp Comedy, plenty of Comedy Galas, AotearoHA, Xmas Comedy Cracker, 7Days, The Project, and many more.
Her international work as a stand-up comedian is (was) constantly growing with shows in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Vancouver, Victoria and Toronto. She has performed at comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Melbourne and Adelaide; and entertained NZ and international troops in East Timor.
Michèle has many appearances at the NZ International Comedy Festival, and has two books with Harper Collins, Stuff I Forgot To Tell My Daughter and 2018's How We Met.
An accomplished and highly regarded MC, Michèle is in high demand for corporate presentations and hosting.
